Ufi Ventures invests in companies developing digital technologies to give people and businesses the skills needed for work, now and in the future.

According to The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, 54% of all employees across the globe will need reskilling by 2022. That’s about 3.5 billion people or if applied to the UK, about 16 million. This apparently large threat to people’s livelihoods is also an opportunity, for new work, new skills, new business – a £350bn market opportunity.

Ufi has a depth of experience in using technology to build skills for work. We’ve funded over 100 projects with 90 organisations, reaching an estimated 500,000 learners.

At a time when new technology is driving significant change in the way we work and the skills needed, we see a great opportunity to be investing in the technologies that will support a more skilled and productive workforce.

Our Approach

Ufi Ventures offers early stage ventures finance and support that draws on the depth of Ufi’s experience in developing digital technologies for skills needed for work.

We can invest from £150,000 up to £1m as equity or debt into early stage companies who share our mission and meet our investment criteria.

We are keen to collaborate and co-invest with other value-aligned investors interested in the opportunity presented by the changing nature of work and skills.
